Joseph C. O'Brien is a Massachusetts politician. He was Mayor of Worcester, Massachusetts 2010-2012. He currently sits on the Worcester City Council. He was born and raised in Worcester before earning his B.A. in urban studies from Fordham University and a M.A. in public administration from Harvard University. From 2007-2009, O'Brien served as a congressional staffer for U.S. Congressman and Worcester resident Jim McGovern. He is a resident of the Main South neighborhood in downtown Worcester.[1]
